Encouraging Alabama Children to Stay in School
According to the most recent education statistics, less than one in four students in Alabama will ever graduate from college with a four year degree, and less than one in ten students will move on to graduate studies. Even more tragic, a large number of the students who do not complete their education come from low income or underprivileged families.
Ambassadors for Educational Excellence
As Regional Ambassadors for the #AgentsofChange network, the Karen Miller Agency is committed to ensuring that all the children in the Birmingham area are given all the support they need to succeed in their studies. We are launching a campaign to help provide educational resources and community-based counseling to students in and around Jefferson County, and we will be working to assist several local initiatives that offer scholarships and financial assistance for students who want to move on to college.
The truth is that there are thousands of students in the area that need educational assistance, and we can’t do this alone. We need your help.
Working Together to Help Children
Rather than sending us a donation, we’re asking you to invite you friends and family members to visit our offices and receive a complimentary insurance appraisal. This will give us the opportunity to share information about this campaign with them. Then, as a way of thanking you for your help, we will issue a donation IN YOUR NAME to a program here in our community that is actively working to improve educational outcomes for our children.
Join Our Team!
By working together, we can make lasting, positive changes in the lives of young people in our community. We hope you decide to join our team.
